Marketmen Friends, Family and Fans! We have a new stadium at Taylor Field and couldn’t be more excited to start spending our evenings here watching your Gerding Marketmen together! We owe a HUGE THANK YOU to the Gregg and Sissel families and all other donors for making this possible! It is almost complete but needs your help to finish up a few projects. If you are able to make a donation, no matter how large or small please go to our website and click on the Hansen Stadium Project tab. From there you can view what projects are needed and choose where you would like your donation to be applied to. We appreciate all of your dedication to our program and hope to continue the long lasting tradition and values that the American Legion Baseball Program provides to our local youth. Hubba Hubba!

Looks like our guy was safe at the plate by a mile as Ben’s hand is touching the plate when the catcher is still catching the ball. This was one of those game shifting calls….we would have been up 2-0 with one out, and just had our 4th hit in a row. It was a tough loss for sure, but we could not be more proud of each and every single one of these boys! These boys fought hard even with the odds stacked against them and showed us that their love and loyalty for one another will remain strong even when faced with adversity. Well done Grocery Boyz, well done! #mybrothers #wearefamily #groceryboyz

The Gerding Marketmen will be providing a neutral field and hosting the State Play-in Game for the third place teams from Area 3 and Area 4. The game will be held at Taylor Field at 6pm first pitch. The winner will advance to the State Tournament this Saturday at the University of Portland and the loser will be eliminated. Please note the gate fees will be $6 for adults, $4 for Students K-12/Seniors 62+, FREE for Military w/ID. Elaine’s concession stand will be OPEN.
